This original design is reminiscent of chinoiserie wallpaper from the 20’s. The idea came to me after watching a movie set in England and filmed in a beautiful castle. It can be embroidered then wrapped and stitched to a metal-framed lampshade, or framed in one piece for a unique piece of art. I atitched this with Gumnut Yarn silk threads, however a complete list of DMC alternatives is provided for this design.
You can lengthen or shorten the design by omitting or repeating any elements. I used a wire lampshade that is 65cm (26in) in diameter x 15cm (6in) in height.
At the moment, this design is only available as a PDF. The file includes the instructions for the complete design; with photos, close-up photos, detailed instructions, materials list and drawings.
