This is a unique crewel work designof mine which is very popular, because whilst it uses traditional crewel work techniques, it has a uniquely modern look. With little creatures, exotic fruits and fantasy flowers, the colours are a clever blend of soft and bold, and the stitches have textures and layers that add interest and detail, with just a delicate touch of sparkle. A refreshing twist on traditional crewel work! Detailed instructions are provided, however, it is recommended to have your stitch guide handy. This is an intermediate level crewel embroidery.
The design is 26cm (10 inches) x 29cm (11 inches).
