With little creatures, exotic fruits and fantasy flowers, this divine design by Taetia is sure to delight and fascinate! The colours are a clever blend of soft and bold, and the stitches have textures and layers that add interest and detail, with just a delicate touch of sparkle.
A refreshing twist on traditional crewelwork.
Detailed instructions are provided, however, it is recommended to have your stitch guide handy. This is an intermediate level crewel embroidery.
You get the full colour instructions, linen-cotton blend fabric with the design printed on it, three specialty threads, plus all the sequins and beads that you need.
I have used Appleton’s crewel wool in the instructions, but you can use any crewel wool in your stash, just match the colours to what you have, or change the colour scheme if you wish!
The design is 26cm (10 inches) x 29cm (11 inches).
THE LAST PHOTO SHOWS WHAT YOU RECEIVE. The second-to-last photo shows a close-up section of the printed panel so that you can see the quality of the fabric and the beautiful fine lines of the design printing.
