This is the design to make a unique and divine hand embroidered lampshade and wreath. You can make the lampshade, or the wreath, or a matching set. The design can be embroidered then wrapped and stitched to a metal-framed lampshade, and the wreath can be framed or stretched into a hoop, for a unique wall art. It would also look lovely on a bed cushion. This design would also look fabulous on a special outfit, or as a ring cushion. Or embroider a new baby’s name in the centre of the wreath.
The instructions to stitch it to a lampshade frame are included. The design can be lengthened or shortened to suit your lampshade size. I used a white, plain fabric circular lampshade with wire frame, circumference 44.5cm, height 19cm (add to, or shorten, the design to accommodate a larger or smaller frame). Included is the list of threads, ribbons and fabric that I have used, but you can use any threads in your own stash. DMC alternatives have been provided to exchange for the threads used, and you can use any silk ribbons, sequins and beads. Change the colour scheme to suit your tastes.
At the moment, this design is only available as a PDF. The file includes the instructions for the complete design; of both the wreath and the lampshade with photos, detailed instructions and drawings.
